Between 2021 and 2024, Zing & Co partnered with ACSO to support vision creation and strategic planning work with the Board and leadership group. Below is a selection of these engagements:
2-day Board Strategic Planning Offsite: We partnered with the CEO and Board Chair to design and facilitate a strategic planning workshop for the ACSO Board and leadership team. The purpose of the workshop was to provide participants the opportunity to analyse and reflect on changes to the external environment and set the coming years’ priorities for the organisation. A key outcome and next step agreed from the workshop was to create a new organisational vision.
New vision creation: Zing & Co was re-engaged to work with the newly appointed Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to build on the Board and leadership teams work and create a compelling new vision for ACSO. This process involved engaging with key stakeholders to understand the frustrations, influences, and motivators of key stakeholder groups and to unpack ‘why ACSO exists’.
Board and Executive reflection and strategic reset: Zing & Co was invited back in 2024 to facilitate a strategic planning workshop to assess the organisations progress against the vision and strategic priorities and set a plan to ensure success for the next longer-term strategic plan.
Through these workshops, coupled with our partnership in between, the organisation was able to:
gain insight into the broad strategic landscape
reflect on recent successes and what they could learn from them
have strategic discussions about the service offerings, strategic influence, positioning and business development priorities
identify organisational capability and capacity building priorities
